Break Free

Through the pain

Past the scars

Love me through my walls

Past these cell bars.

If I

Hide my flaws

Distract my aches

I reject my essence

Deny heavenly quakes.

If I

blind myself

of all that I am.

I numb the hurt

Dull the glam.

But

If I open up,

Let them be,

I may just

set both free.

Only then,

When I come alive,

Will my pain soften

And pleasure golden.
