Why does it work?

Call it manifestation, vision boarding or simple decoration. When I started surrounding myself with art representing my future self, my growth skyrocketed. Every day, I was visually reminded of who I wanted to be, encouraging my steps forward. Today, I’m an artist selling my canvasses around the world, painting trucks and more!

I want that success for you as well! I’m not a coach but what I can do as an artist, is help you take your first step and make it last a lifetime. Together, we’ll create a captivating visual reminder of your vision that’ll stimulate you to keep moving towards that finish line.

She has successfully reapplied for her dream job as stewardess and is now travelling the world.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Mission Mural exactly?

Let me break it down! A mural is a painting on the wall. Think of a logo that is painted behind the cash register in a store, the menu that is drawn with chalk in a hip café or the spray painted street art on a large building in the city (don't confuse this with graffiti, those spray painted signatures you see along train tracks).

So, a Mission Mural is a mural designed specifically for you. A large work of art on your wall that represents your WHY, aimed to fill you with energy, inspiration and facilitate focus every day.

A mural sounds nice and all, but how is that really going to help me?

I understand your hesitation and I can tell you that a Mission Mural is not just a pretty image on a wall, you could easily purchase cool wallpaper for that. A Mission Mural is a real work of art. You can see art as beautiful or ugly, but it is mainly about the feelings it awakens in you. A pleasant memory arises or a new hopeful perspective discovered. Suddenly, without further action, you feel those emotions in the present moment. Same goes for a Mission Mural! Art has such an incredible power to captivate and I believe that if it’s specifically aimed towards your goal, it sets the Law of Attraction into motion. Gradually, you will achieve those goals and your dream visualized on the wall will soon become your new reality.

Imagine this: you have a Mission Mural in the meeting room of your company where you are now having a conversation with a potential partner. You doubt whether this will be the right partnership for your business, you look up and see the Mission Mural. You’re immediately reminded of what your ultimate vision is and you can decide whether the action you are taking in that moment contributes to the endgoal. This way you remain focussed on what is truly important to you.

I don't understand how you’re going to create a mural of my WHY/goals/core values, can you give me some Mission Mural concept examples?

a. I’ve created a collage in an art piece with symbols that represented the clients’ values and interests. E.g., a sound wave for singing, third eye for protection, etc.

b. For a feminist woman who felt insecure about her own abilities, I made a two-in-one fine-line mural which portrayed that all the strength and wisdom was already within her.

c. A footwear company approached me to paint their surfboard for a convention. I created several sketches representing their mission of ‘Recovery in Motion’. One was an athlete holding their sport shoes and wearing the recovery slippers, representing relaxation after achievement. Another was a mantra in big letters related to their cause, this is the one they chose?

d. A woman who sadly experienced a miscarriage had contacted me to help her express her pain and healing in an art piece. It would be abstract, the color blue for a boy and white for hope and light at the end of the tunnel. With small yellow wellies she had ready for him. Unfortunately, this project didn’t continue due to other unforeseen circumstances.

What if my goal changes a year after my Mission Mural was done?

That’s why I primarily focus on something deeper, like your WHY in life, because a real dream or your core values don’t change that quickly. You may change your direction as you grow and develop, that's okay, that's actually beautiful. Yet, if you do a complete 360 change, you can still celebrate how far you’ve come which is still visible in the Mission Mural. If you’ve found it a pleasant experience and you’d like your Mission Mural to fully reflect your current situation, we may be able to combine it or we’ll just do it all over again, how cool would that be!!

I think it’s quite a lot of money and I’m nervous to make such a large investment.

I totally understand. The price includes the costs of purchased materials, multiple contact moments, and my time and experience as an artist. It’s also a tailor-made and one of a kind work of art. Plus, as it’s meant to inspire you daily, what would it cost you not to gift yourself that recurring valuable stimulation?

However, you have the option to withdraw at any time, incase you change your mind or we find out that my style or design doesn't quite suit you after all. That’s totally okay. This is why I ask you for a 30% down payment for the time and costs already invested in the design stage. This deposit is non-refundable and if you decide you don’t wish to continue the process, we part ways with good intent.

Moreover, we can discuss alternate possibilities. You can return at a later time once you’ve saved up some, or have a look in my webshop and maybe you’ll find an art piece that appeals to you and better suits your budget. Paying in more installments is also an option. I’d like to make art accessible to everyone so you can always send me an email at info@marindamichele.com and I’ll see what I can do.

I don't live in The Hague or even in the Netherlands, are there options for that?

How cool that you found me from far away! I ship my art all over the world and I’d love to travel to your city or country to make a Mission Mural for you, that's how you make one of my dreams come true!

I’d like to but don’t know which wall or which style?

I’d be happy to help you with this. We can go through all the options together until we find something that suits you.

I want it on my outside wall / garage / alley / wall in my city, is that possible?

This is certainly possible, there is just a little more work to be done beforehand. We’ll perhaps need approval from the municipality for outside walls, etc.

I have a different idea for a mural or normal sized piece and I like your style, is that possible?

Sure! Send me an email with your idea to info@marindamichele.com and we can discuss the options.

I rent my apartment and am not allowed to paint the walls, how can I get a Mission Mural?

In that case, I can paint it on a large canvas so you can hang it and take it with you to your next home too.

I have another question, can I get more information?

You can email me your other questions via info@marindamichele.com or we can schedule a free and no-strings-attached phone call to discuss your concerns or wishes.
